Finest, softest foliage of any Lomandra longifolia variety,Elegant weeping lime-green habit with fragrant spring flowersFrost, drought, coastal, and poor-soil tolerantPerforms in full sun to heavy shadeThe benchmark choice for borders, mass planting, and erosion controlTanika is the lomandra that changed the way Australian gardens use native grasses. Its fine, 3mm-wide leaves are the narrowest of any Lomandra longifolia selection, producing a soft, weeping habit quite unlike the coarser strappy grass appearance of the parent species. Over more than two decades of widespread planting it has proven itself as adaptable, long-lived, and consistent across an extraordinary range of soils, climates, and exposures. The fragrant cream-yellow flower spikes in spring add a subtle seasonal bonus above the evergreen
foliage.
