APPEARANCE: This shrub grows to a rounded mound producing sweet pea shaped purple flowers in spring and summer. Foliage is a soft grey-green colour.
USE IN: Containers, beds, borders for brilliant display of colour.
LOCATION: This shrub prefers full sun; will tolerate some shade but flowering may be reduced. Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established.
CARE: Mulch and water well, trim at the beginning of spring to promote compact growth and flowering. Feed with a controlled release fertiliser three times a year.
